What I Doing
I'm a software engineer at Maxis (an Electronic Arts studio), working on the game Spore, coming out September 2008. I work with Chris Hecker, Bernd Raabe, and Ryan Enslow on the creature animation system, detailed in the Siggraph 2008 technical paper "Real-time Motion Retargeting to Highly Varied User-Created Morphologies". I also stepped in to implement and refine the creature spine editor and creature game physics simulations, among other bits.
